The Main Street Chamber Orchestra was founded to make classical music a relevant part of life for everyone in our community.

Our name is intended to reflect that we are rooted in the community and our desire is to make great music a part of our communal lives. In addition to our Master Works concerts, each season will feature at least one free Family Concert designed to attract and expose younger audiences to classical music. We will also explore other means to grow the relevance of this music through community involvement, lectures and special events for young people and their families.

As a fledgling organization we are dependent on your support. Of course your financial support is vital, but we are also seeking direct input of ideas. We want this to be your orchestra, and we welcome your involvement.
